About Janurelle
Janurelle began as a passion project, rooted in nature and a love for mindful, sustainable living. It all started with Jana, an avid gardener, who grew calendula to craft her own natural skincare—first for herself, then as thoughtful gifts for family and friends.
As her passion for handmade, plant-based skincare grew, so did the idea of creating something bigger. Inspired by the belief that skincare should be kind—to both the skin and the planet—Jana carefully developed a range of ethical, eco-friendly, and sustainably sourced products. From the very beginning, her focus has been on gentle formulations, perfect for sensitive skin, and always free from parabens, petroleum derivatives, SLS, SLES, PEGs, EDTA, and even plant-derived glycerine.
Janurelle officially launched in 2016, offering beautifully crafted soaps, body butters, bath bombs, and facial serums—all made with nature’s finest ingredients. Every product is carefully formulated and fully compliant with UK Office for Product Safety (OPSS) and EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, ensuring the highest quality and safety.
In 2017, Janurelle found a home at York’s historic Shambles Market, where you can find the stall every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Beyond the world of handmade skincare, Jana is a dedicated advocate for animal welfare, proudly supporting the British Hen Welfare Trust.
